I know that I've posted about Pinterest before, but if you haven't been on it, you definitely need to. Here are my boards. I added a lot tonight. I am trying to go through some links I have saved in my e-mail. I just need more time to make all this stuff:) Click here to go to my page. If you don't have a page but want one, let me know and I can invite you. If you don't have an invite, you have to wait a week or two to get accepted.
We are buzzing through the weeks now! The only way to get through this picture was with Miles' new favorite toy, the red bat. He loves it, takes it everywhere, eats it, bangs it, you name it. So, naturally, it had to make an appearance in his weekly pic.
Today we have been on the go, go, go all day long. We left early to head to the Yankee game. It was a perfect day for a ballgame! It was overcast and in the 70s with a little breeze. Miles was a trooper and charmed all the people around us with his cuteness. He even earned a couple nicknames -- Little Babe and Mo.
After the game, we headed to Ikea for Keriann and Derrick to pick up some stuff, and we left with a new kitchen table. It was in the as-is clearance department for $67.00. How could we resist that? Once we get it put together and everything, I will post a pic. Then we went to Ballard Backroom, which was closed. I was so bummed. So it's on the list for the next trip to Cincinnati. That and Jungle Jim's. I really want to go there too.
Tomorrow is my birthday. I am really toeing that 30 line now. It's hard to believe this is my last year in my 20s!
We are going to Cincinnati for a Yankees v. Reds game tomorrow, followed by a little Ikea and Ballard Backroom shopping. (I just heard of Ballard Backroom. It's an outlet for Ballard Designs. Have you been there? I'm pumped!)
It's going to be a busy day, and I'm so looking forward to it!
T.J. wanted to do my birthday early since we won't be home much tomorrow. He baked me a cake today, then decked it out with glitter candles.
And I got a few gifts. Some new clothes.
I think Keriann likes this one:)
Time for some spa pedicures at home!
T.J. also got me a pair of Tom's shoes, but they won't be here until Friday.
Today we celebrated T.J. the whole day. I wanted to do a present an hour, just to keep the focus on Mr. McCord all day long. He was off duty today, not changing a single diaper or feeding Miles all day. I had to fight him off too. He kept wanting in on the action -- must be out of habit! I didn't work at all today, so I had a nice day off too. I love these family days!
Pastries from Panera and a card from Miles.
(See Miles playing with the Mother's Day balloon that's still going strong?)
A big DAD balloon (Miles LOVES this!) and a card from me.
This toy has provided hours of fun for Miles. He used to just sit and watch it. Then he got to where he would army crawl over to it and hold on to the side. Now he crawls over, sits up on his knees, and hits the play button all by himself.
Then he pulled up on dad today and got a big kick out of that.
Hi, I'm Kaylan, a mom, freelance court reporter, and avid crafter. I'm married to my best friend and the best stay-at-home dad ever. We live in the suburbs outside of Indianapolis. Almost all of our family is back in Iowa except for my sister Keriann and her fiance Derrick. I talk about them a lot on here too; so if you see their names, you will know who they are.
I dabble a little in just about everything and love to blog about all of it. So grab your coffee and your laptop, kick back, and stay a while. Enjoy the show!
