Miles singing Jesus loves me!

Phone Dump

I've gotten a little behind on my blogging.  I just get so busy doing things like building with blocks.
And snuggling with my boys.
And piggyback rides!  Or as Miles says, "Driving Tee Tee!"
And doing arts and crafts.
And enjoying Christmas parties.
And playing the drums.
And coloring.
And playing in the snow.
And swinging in the snow.
And using apps to put beards on our faces like Daddy's.
And seeing the Christmas lights at the zoo.
And comparing old pics to new ones.
And admiring sunsets.
And riding carousels.
And playing with pool balls.
And playing with trains.
And playing with remote controlled cars.
And watching my baby sleep.
And helping Miles on his big boy swing.
And watching movies with my man.
And celebrating our friend's birthday Mickey and Minnie Mouse style.
And trying to walk in Daddy's shoes.
And anticipating said birthday party above.
And admiring my husband as he sharpens his cooking skills.  (He's pretty awesome too!)
And playing with Hot Wheels.
And visiting the Children's Museum.
And having lots of family time!
And brushing our teeth.
And shopping! (This was taken the day after Thanksgiving.  Mom made us wear the hats!)
And playing with all the fun ornaments on the tree.
We've had a pretty busy month here at our house.  It's been such a sweet time of year for us, and we hope it has been for you too!

Cinnamon Rolls

I made some semi-homemade cinnamon rolls the other day.  They are mini, easy, and super delicious!!  I found them on Pinterest.  Here is the actual site for the recipe.
Let me know if you try them!  They are divine!!

Coloring Daddy

Miles loves coloring people.  He's just getting the hang of making faces.

Ollie Blocks

I got some downloads from Caravan Shoppe to make some cute blocks.  Miles loves building, so these are right up his alley!
Herky keeping an eye on things.
I also got the camera printable.  I thought it was cute, and it fits perfect right here by my desk.

Merry Christmas!

Boy did we have a fun Christmas!  Miles totally cashed in, being the only child and all.  T.J. and I got a few things, but nothing big.  Here is everything all set up before going to bed Christmas Eve.
Miles loved his Santa presents.  He got a roller coaster, train table, and shopping cart.  He played with each one about 20 minutes before switching to the other.  Getting him to open any other gifts was a challenge.  He only wanted to play with these three things.  Can you blame him?

He loved all his food and "shopping" for it.  He made us dump the cart, then he picks up things, counting and matching them, while putting them back in the cart.  There was also some pretend eating going on, which is really putting the food in his mouth.
He loves his recorder!
The Play-Doh kit was a big hit too!
Oh, and he got a Hot Wheels track.  It's really for T.J., but he likes to pretend it was for Miles:)
We had such a great time celebrating Christmas with Miles.  What a joy it is to see the fun and magic of Christmastime through his eyes!  Next year will be even more fun, since he'll get more of it.  We weren't the best about being Santa and all.  I'm going to have to sharpen my game a bit!

Christmas Eve

I hope you all had a great Christmas celebrating the birth of our Savior!  We did just that and had a relaxing day at home.  Let's start with Christmas Eve day, then I'll get to Christmas in the next post:)

We decided that it might be fun to have a movie on our Christmas family traditions, so we went to Wreck It Ralph.  Miles did good once the movie got going.  But being the ever punctual movie goer that T.J. is, we were there way to early -- before the previews started.  Miles kept asking to "Go home now!" or "Leave that way!" pointing to the door.  Luckily once the actually movie started (which seemed like FOREVER), he sat good and watched it.  We were able to stay for the whole thing, which I was surprised by.  We enjoyed the movie, and love a new family tradition!
Another new family tradition is opening a present Christmas Eve night.  New jammies for everyone!!
Then we had to take some pictures in our new jammies.
Then we had to do silly pictures, of course.

Derrick had to work overnight Christmas Eve into Christmas, so he missed the pajama party.  After Miles went to bed, Keriann and I put together a puzzle, and we all watched Christmas Vacation.
